Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce is a full-time course offered by University of Madras, Chennai. Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Preference should be given to public Administration as well as for interdisciplinary subjects.
  • A Candidate must have passed any PG degree course in Public Administration or any other discipline recognized by the University with 55%.
