Annai College of Education, Dharmapuri: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Annai college of education Dharmapuri, admitted in the year 2006, affiliated college situated in Tamil Nadu, India. It is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and recognised by the National Council of Teacher Education. Located in a 5.9 acre gated compound the college has two programmes of specialisations with an enrolment of 300 students at most. This institute has limited number of the faculty members having 16 members so there will be proper teacher to students ratio.

This college makes available all these fundamental facilities to improve the learning of its students. The campus consists of a boy’s hostel and a girl’s hostel to provide adequate accommodation for students coming from other towns and regions. An informative library is the main collection of knowledge, and departmental laboratories provide practicing experiences. The college also has an auditorium for occasions and seminars to enhance social academic activities. In the aspect of students’ welfare, there is a cafeteria, a health centre with first aid facilities and a gym. Gyms for fit and active body, and play grounds foster team spirit.

At present Annai College of Education provides two full time courses of Education. The B.Ed and M.Ed programs are therefore tailored to prepare students embrace the teaching profession and offer leadership in education. Together the two programs make up a total of 150 seats, which offers the college chances for accommodating those interested in teaching. 

Annai College of Education follows the government policies of the state and the UT administration and the norms prescribed by the affiliated university in the system of admission ever followed in the institution. Regarding the B.Ed program, the admission to each course shall be made according to the merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test.
