Annai College of Education is situated at Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu India and was started in the year of 2005 and is affiliated. Its primary focus is teachers’ training, providing before mentioned levels of study and postgraduate degree programs. Affiliated to Kuvempu University and recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) the college lies on a very small five acre campus. Annai College of Education offers an intense study regime to its students with a total enrolment of 499 students and 26 members in the faculty. The institute offers two full-time courses. B.ED and M.ED to give education to those who wants to be a teacher at various stages of their learning process.

The college has put in place facilities that can complement the learning process of the students in college. The campus comes equipped with hostel/township facilities for only boys and girls where the student is provided with quality living and decent and affordable meals. The library which is an essential part of any academic institution possesses own rich stock; it posesses 7625 book stock, 1740 volumes, 17 journals, 12national magazines. in terms of practical the college has functional laboratories in Biological Science, Computer Science, Psychology, and Physical Science. IT being developed with free access to the internet and more than 50 computers as well as offering a set of up-to-date educational technologies.

Annai College of Education has in total two programs and both of the programs are on a full time basis. The B.Ed has the sanctioned strength of one hundred seats, the M.Ed containing fifty seats only. These programmes are intended to produce teachers and other education professionals in the teaching profession. A specialised and a practical nature of embodying training forms are clearly seen in the context of the college focusing on the education of teachers. 

Annai College of Education follows State Government, University/UT administration s norms that have issue of Admission Merit List. For the B.Ed program, the admission is made through both Parliamentary Statutes and marks secured in the previous qualifying examination and entrance test.
