New Mallepally based Anwarul Uloom College for College Studies was established in the year 1953. Located in a 3 acre of area the college has a total strength of 4,723 students and 215 faculty members which provide the conducive academic atmosphere at the college. This college allow for both genders and currently offers 28 courses in 9 degree programmes and courses. The college provides quality education in the desired Arts, Science, Commerce and Management streams.

Some of the student facilities include the following a campus library that is highly equipped to be a source of information for students and members of faculty. Of these the college provides sports facilities as well as a gym for students who have an interest in exercises and body building. It also has an auditorium for occasions such as seminars besides providing a lively cultural facilities for students on the campus. Modern teaching labs fulfill the practical part of the learning process, and information technology prepares students for the latest innovations. Anwarul Uloom College for College Studies offers full-time courses at Undergraduate and Post Graduate standard. Degree courses offered in the present curriculum involve the conventional courses such as; B.A, B.Sc, and B.Com, Business Administration & different degrees of Master of Business Administration, and several degrees of Master of Science. The college also offers speciality programmes such as: PGD in Bio-information and PGD in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics.

Being a society college, Anwarul Uloom College for College Studies has a policy of admitting students on first come first served basis and merit basis. The college takes the performance in the 10+2 examination into consideration while admitting a candidate through an undergraduate program While candidates seeking a postgraduate program must posses a relevent bachelors degree.
