Aquinas College, Edacochin: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Aquinas College Edacochin is an affiliated college setup in the year 1981 is located in Cochin- Kerala. founded in 1997, this institution spans over 6 acres and has successfully opened opportunities for course and degree programmes with 12 courses and 5 degree programmes. Recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) the Aquinas College has an overall student enrolment of 1344, out of which 35% are males and 65% are females. The college has 31 teachers in total, offering specialized programmes in Physics, Economics, English, Commerce and software education among others.

Aquinas College student learning environment embraces the fact that the institution is ideals to offer comprehensive learning. The campus facilities include amply stocked library with more than 21000 books of various discipines. For those interested in the workouts, a multi-gymnasium has been provided with manual and weight training equipment. For purpose of sporting activities they have a hockey field, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and 333 meters cycling and athletic track. The college has acquired commendable sizes of computers at 123, and internet facilities as well as the provision of free Wi-Fi connections in the college. Students also have the opportunities and resourceful facilities such as Physics, Electronics, Biotechnology and etc. labs. College auditorium, a big hall with accommodation of over three thousand people and Conference Hall with a seating capacity of three hundred academic and cultural events.

Currently, Aquinas College teaches twelve courses: six undergraduate and six postgraduate level courses. Currently, the institute offers 8 full-time under graduate programmes and 4 full-time post graduate programmes. 

The admission procedures for students at Aquinas College especially for the courses offered has various procedures with merit basis as the main technique. For example, the B.Com Marketing programme has a merit list for the selection of students. The college is open for admission for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses among them being B.Sc Physics, BA Economics, and M.Sc Physics among others.
