Arasan Ganesan polytechnic College, Sivakasi, was started in the year 1981 and it is affiliated college situated in Tamil Nadu, India. Affiliated to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi., this institution has been setting path for technical education for over 40 years. It has a 50 acre campus and a total enrolled student strength of 1045 and a faculty strength of 18. It has six diploma programmes in civil, mechanical, electrical, communication, Electronics and communication engineering disciplines giving the students an option to specialise in nearly every branch of engineering. Being a technical institution Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College has been effectively involved in producing qualified man power for the growth of the society.

Arasan Ganesan polytechnic College has basic and functional necessities for student’s development to learn more about their academic style and convenience. The campus has the facility of separate hostels for boys and girls to provide proper comfortable accommodation to the out-station students. The boys hostel, known as the Smt.Lady Founder Chairman, Saraswathi Ganesan hostel, is spacious enough to house at least 300 student with proper study environment to work dedicated hours along with staff members. The girls’ hostel is newer; this can accommodate 25 inmates. The college has a well stocked library where all type of resources such as textbooks, references and digital and other resources are available as per the requirements of students. There are excellent provisions for sports and games addicts having a 400 meters track, indoor as well as outdoor games facilities. The IT infrastructure is sound with functional computer laboratories; with internet connection for practical training of all the departments.

Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College provides a total of six full time diploma courses are available and the duration of the programme is for three years only. These courses cut across disciplines of engineering and are available for students with diverse interests and goals with an engineering programme. The total approved intake for all courses combined is 420 so there is a great opportunity for the young people who dream to become engineers.
