Aravali Teacher Training College has been set up in 2007 located in the city of Udaipur (Rajasthan) and is one of the best colleges of this region. This affiliated college, an area of 1.33 acres, caters to the education needs preparing future teachers with well-equipped teacher training programme. This college recognised by NAAC as well as approved by NCTE and offers 4 professional education courses. Aravali Teacher Training College has the total student enrolment of 385 and faculty of 25 members which makes the environment appropriate to learn teaching skills.

I have highlighted some of the facilities which apply to the college to support the learning of the students. A rich collection of books, and additional learning resources is available through a centrally located library in the knowledge corer, and there are several special purpose laboratories constructed subject wise including science, psychology, language, and the knowledge of educational technology. Aravali Teacher Training College campus contains an auditorium for occasions and seminars that creates active academic environment. For the purpose of food break students can have cafeteria and social interaction with fellow students is also possible. Facilities are as follows; Health is taken care with a first aid facility being available, fitness too is catered for by a gym facility within the compound. Four full-time courses are offered at Aravali Teacher Training College; and each of them has been designed to cater for the needs of students in the following respective areas. The college offers the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme where a total of 200 students are admitted to the programme. For students who want a comprehensive programme, the college offers the BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed, each with an intake capacity of one hundred student. These are four-year integrated courses which combines subject content knowledge and curriculum implementation skills.

The admission process in Aravali Teacher Training College involves a process of screening students who meet the eligibility requirements to be offered places on the various training programmes offered in the college. For the B.Ed course the admissions are done through the Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) conducted by the Government of Rajasthan. These identify competent candidates who are then posted to different B.Ed colleges throughout the state according to their performance.
