Affiliated college Aries Polytechnic College, Palakkad was established in 2013 at Mattathukad, Attappadi, Kerala. It is an AICTE recognised institute offering diploma courses in several fields of engineering. Located in a 25.04 acres of land, the college offers a good environment for technical college education. Aries Polytechnic College has 43 members in the faculty and aims at providing quality education in the engineering stream. The institute has five full time diploma courses each of three years duration to cover all the branches of engineering.

Aries Polytechnic College, has established several amenities to cater for the students’ needs in terms of their development. A good library collection which is comprehensive in meeting the needs of students as a source of knowledge is an organisational resource. The institute also has laboratories belonging to different departments with sophisticated instruments benefiting students to get practical experiences. In this regard, to enhance the ease of transport for college users, the college provides transport facilities to both students and staff. A sports complex provides student with artistic and athletic means to create a healthy and physically active community. The college also has very strong IT facilities which keep the students informed of the latest development. Minimally a cafeteria fulfils the feeding needs of this college population while an auditorium for various events, seminars, etc contributes to the colleges activity calendar.
