Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Army Institute of Education came into existence in the year 2003, and it is an affiliated college situated in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. On a 2.92-acre campus, this premier institution is spread to provide quality education in the teaching field. AIE has NAAC accreditation and NCTE approval. This institute has a total student enrolment of 161, with a faculty strength of 25, and provides a focused learning environment. Currently, AIE offers two specialised B.Ed programs that cater to the needs of diverse aspiring educators. 

The institute is enabled with various modern facilities that help accomplish its educational mission. There is a library with more than 8,000 books and periodicals, which are well-equipped and supplemented by digital resources. There is a well-established Computer and Educational Technology Lab with 31 computers, all interconnected through LAN with access to the internet. The science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are well-maintained and fully equipped for hands-on learning. Other facilities provided by AIE include sports facilities such as badminton, volleyball, and basketball courts, and table tennis, chess, and carom.

Army Institute of Education runs two full-time B.Ed courses. General B.Ed with 100 seats and B.Ed Special Education in Learning Disability with 30 seats. The duration in both is two years, which will systemically provide adequate training to the prospective teacher. For these courses, the sanctioned total intake is 130 students, reflecting the institute's commitment to quality education with manageable class sizes.

The admission procedure at Army Institute of Education is governed by merit in the CET conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. This would ensure free, open, and competitive selection of students for both B.Ed programs.
