Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Education affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University,Chemmozhi Vellore and is located at Krishnankoil, Virudhunagar District,Tamil Nadu was established in the year 2006. It is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located on a 12.97 hectare campus, the college teaches three education related programmes having an aggregate admission capacity of 212 students. The faculty of the institute comprises 25 members which gives the institute a healthy student faculty ratio. Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Education is firmly affiliated to give quality educational modules in the area of teacher training with special focus on B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed courses.

The Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Education offers many amenities to enrich the education of the students in the college. The digital library, already headed by Mrs. K. Bagavathi, has a collection of around 6,100 books mainly reference, it is also a member of a lot of journals and newspapers. In the case of physical development, the campus hold first-rate sports facilities in the form of a cricket ground, volley ball ground, basketball court besides others indoor games like shuttle cock and tennis. The college also provides central modern IT infrastructure and well equipped laboratory in psychology, physical science, language and computer science streams. Other facilities include an auditorium for occasions similar to seminars, a canteen, health station with emergency section and a gym. The institute has a separate hostel facility for boys and girls so that the students from distant places feel comfortable in staying in the institute hostel.

Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Education has a total of three full time programmes for different levels of education. These are Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed) programmes.
