Aryabhatta Group of Institutes accepts candidates through the criteria laid down by the PTU as a general admission process. For B.Tech programmes, admissions are based on CET conducted by PT, Jalandhar During the admission process the college offers General Management and Industrial Management and other twenty colleges offer fifty specializations of B.Tech programmes. The institute also has the management quota, which takes 33% of the total intake of students at the college. For these seats, the requirements are All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) ranks or marks of the 10+2 Non-Medical stream. The MBA programme admissions are geared on the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) held by the All India Management Association for management quota, and the state level Management Entrance Test (MET) for state quota. Engineering courses have JEE Main whiles MBA has been centralised with CAT as the admission requirement of the institute.
