About Aryan College of Education, Gwalior

Aryan College of Education, Gwalior was established in 2005 and it is an affiliated college that focuses on creating the future of Educators. This Institution is situated at Gram Dhaneli across the Sant Joseph Hospital at Badagaon Road, Morar and lies across an extent of 1,1478 acres. This NCTE approved college has two specializations in the field of education. The college has an overall capacity for 298 students and is staffed with 16 faculty members and is ideal for students who are interested in teaching profession.

The college has a number of amenities that are meant to provide support in the college education of students. :Education Management, Computer science and other disciplines which is more than 3500 books of library is functioning as the heart institution of learning. It also accesses national journals of various professions and has numerous sets of encyclopedias references, magazines and newspapers. The institution has availing laboratory for those student who want to use practice for undergoing their knowledge. The Psychology Lab determines the caliber and talents of the students; The science Lab has many sets of apparatus for the scientific methods of teaching. Many of them include the Educational Technology Lab, multimedia and computer assisted-instructions foster and enhance the students’ appreciation of new horizon in teaching methodology. It also possesses sports fields, a large computerized laboratory with internet connection, a cafeteria, an assembly hall for functions and lectures, and transports means to and from different parts of the city to college.

There are two full time courses that are offered by the Aryan College of Education. Thirty five five hundred is the approved number for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme though the Diploma in Education (D.Ed) is also offered. Each of the programmes can be finished in two years and will equip students with knowledge in educational theory and practice. 

The admission is done based on the policy that is set by the state government of Union Territory and the concerned university to which the college is affiliated. As for the B.Ed programme, the seats are filled depending on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and or entrance exam. The college can also use other methods of selection as spelt in the government policy on the same.

Aryan College of Education, Gwalior Admission

Aryan College of Education, Gwalior, is a NCTE-approved affiliated institution committed to sculpting the futures of teachers. The college maintains a thorough process of admission consistent with the directives of the policies of the Madhya Pradesh state government and the respective university with which the institution is affiliated.

Two courses are run on a full-time basis by the college: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Education (D.Ed), each lasting two years. Admission is made on a selection basis to choose the deserving candidates depending on their performance in academics and other parameters as laid down by the government.

For the B.Ed course, the seats are filled up according to the marks obtained in the entrance exam and/or qualifying examination. The college will also use other methods of selection as mentioned under the government policy.

Application Process

The application process of Aryan College of Education, Gwalior, contains the following steps:

1. Admissions Announcement: The college makes an announcement about the opening of the admission process through media, both print and electronic, and on its website.

2. Application Form: The candidates have to get and fill in the application form. This can be downloaded online from the college website or obtained directly at the college campus.

3. Document Submission: In addition to the filled-in application form, the candidates have to submit required documents, which usually include:

  • Mark sheets of entrance examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation for B.Ed)

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The intake for the B.Ed course of Aryan College of Education, Gwalior, is approved at 100 seats. Admission to B.Ed is on the basis of marks in the entrance examination and/or qualifying examination and/or performance in the entrance test. The selection procedure is done by following the policy of the affiliated university and state government. The two-year course imparts students with education theory and practice knowledge and makes them fit for a teaching profession.

D.Ed (Diploma in Education):
The D.Ed course also has an approved intake of 100 seats. The process of admission to D.Ed is based on merit, taking into account the marks secured in the qualifying examination. In addition to this, an entrance test or any other selection procedure according to the state government policy can be carried out. The two-year duration diploma course is planned to impart basic knowledge and skills related to education.

Both programs aim at creating efficient teachers with a focus on theoretical knowledge and teaching skills. The college makes sure that the admission process is unbiased and transparent, following the rules prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state government.
