Astron College of Education, Meerut is an affiliated college, which was established in 2002  and is situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located on a spacious campus of 1.12 acres and is also recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education. There are 8 undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the institution, which admits a total of 786 students across all of its courses. At Astron College of Education, there is a faculty strength of 22 and have been an ideal learning place for aspiring educators as well as for professionals. 

Astron College of Education provides various facilities so as to make the learning experience so fulfilling. A well-equipped library works as a knowledge centre both for the students and faculty members. The departments are facilitated with laboratories, which the students utilise for practical skills in different fields. The college auditorium is fully capable of accommodating over 200 individuals and holds frequent extra-curricular activities and seminars. The college cafeteria provides a space for the students and staff to take a break from heavy schedules to relax and refill their energies. 

Astron College of Education offers a total of 8 full time courses across disciplines. B.Ed, M.Ed, D.El.Ed, BA, BBA, BCA, B.Sc Home Science, and B.Com. The academic portfolio of the institution comprises undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to address various educational ambitions. This equates to the capacity of the college to accommodate a sizeable number of learners.

The selection process of Astron College of Education differs according to different programmes. B.Ed admissions are strictly on the merit basis decided through entrance exam marks under the U.P. Government policy and University policy. M.Ed also follows the pattern by taking into account marks scored in the main qualifying exam plus entrance test under state government policy and C.C.S University policy. For D.El.Ed programmes, admissions strictly merit-based. The merit list is formed by S.C.E.R.T. Meerut.
