Aswathaiah Esthuri Sanjeevamma National Degree College, Chikkaballapur (AESNC) is established educational institution iin Gauribidanur, Karnataka. This co-educational college was established in 1964, and has been providing education for students for almost 6 decades. AESNC is an affiliated college recognised by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). Located on 7-acre campus, the college offers facilities to 1061 students and has 49 faculty members of its own. 

For this reason, the college aims at offering a satisfactory learning environment. A technological feature distinguishing AESNC is that this institution has well equipped computer laboratory to make sure that the students have sufficient computer experience to improve their learning process for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college library is excellent, offering a collection of over fifty thousand books on many topics, encyclopedia and other rare publications. It also has a reference section and also the internet services and OPAC services to the staff and students. The college presents interest for amateur players that has a large play area with proper table tennis and basketball courts, which is almost an impossibility to find in growing rural regions. Besides main classrooms, there are also various departmental laboratories and a separate auditorium for events as well as seminars, a clinic for daily check-ups, a gym and a canteen where students can buy principally hygienic food at reasonable price.

AESNC provides a total of 7 courses and all of them are full time programmes. Among these are five undergraduate courses and two postgraduate courses offered under faculties of Arts, Sciences, Commerce and Computer Applications. The college offers a good blend of conventional and contemporary courses to meet the variety of needs of specific occupations. The courses include M.Com, B.Com, BCA, BA-History, Economics and Sociology and B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
