Atma Ram Mahavidyalaya, Badaun: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Atma Ram Mahavidyalaya, Badaun was established in the year 2010. It is an affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh, India. This institute is approved by NCTE and is running two undergraduate programmes. Located on a compact campus of 1.76 acres, the total student enrolment is 966 with faculty strength of 17. 

Atma Ram Mahavidyalaya has various facilities that help in bolstering student learning and welfare. A well-equipped library is set up according to the norms of MJP Rohilkhand University and is a resourceful entity in the college for students. The laboratories in the college cater to practical learning experiences, and an IT infrastructure is also available to keep pace with the modern educational demands. The gym and sports facilities are available on campus for physical fitness. The college also houses an auditorium for events and seminars. Adding to these facilities to enhance the academic experience are a cafeteria that caters to the dietary needs of the students and staff, and a health centre with first-aid facilities to ensure basic medical care for every individual on campus. Along with this is a campus that provides parking facilities for students and staff. 

Atma Ram Mahavidyalaya offers two regular courses, a three-year B.A. programme and a two-year B.Ed. programme. For both the aforementioned courses together, 660 students are sanctioned as its intake, out of which BA has 560 seats and B.Ed. has 100 seats. 

Atma Ram Mahavidyalaya admission process differs from one program to another. Admission to the BA course is on the basis of merit as per the norms stipulated by M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly; in the case of B.Ed., it is more formal, with selection and admission done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The policies of the state government, Union Territory administration, and the university are followed while admitting students to the programme.
