A Vandana Patil Degree College of Arts Science & Commerce Aland is an institute located in Gulbarga Karnataka and was set up in 1980. It is one of the affiliated college for arts, science and commerce located in 22-acre campus with tremendously wide freyer of undergraduate programmes. The college is NAAC accredited revealing the institutions’ strive for quality education. In total, the institution has 431 enrolled students and 4 teachers that allow offering the personalised approach to learning. The college has 3 degree programmes, in 3 courses which allows student to pursue education in line with their academic and career goals.

AV Patil Degree College of Arts Science & Commerce has a number of installations that aim at improving the learning environment of the students. The physical fitness and recreation of students is facilitated by the well equipped gymnasium. The centre of the college is its library which contains a vast number of books of 15,829 consisting of Magazine, Journal and Daily News Papers both in Kannada and English. It helps students to keep up to date with technology as the college has a strong supporting facility through its IT dept. Also, the department-based laboratories allow for practical assessments of the concepts being taught by offering practical laboratory settings for students taking related classes.

At present the AV Patil Degree College has in total three full time Under Graduate programs that include Three-year Bachelor of Art, Three-year Bachelor of Commerce, and Three-year Bachelor of Science.
