B. Parameshwarappa Arts and Commerce College, Holalkere, Chitradurga, Karnataka state was started in the year 1976 and it is an affiliated college. Located along the National Highway NH-13, this has been offering Educational services to the people in the region for over forty years. Located in the sprawling 8.03 acres piece of land the college is now accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Total enrolment of students for this college are 402 and the faculty contains 16 members to provide the cued concentration for arts and commerce students.

A number of infrastructures are in place to complement the education provision aimed at the college attending students. The library remains one of the strong pillars of academic materials, moving a wide selection of books for learners as well as instructors. It has sliding separated rows of open bookshelves and partitions a student and teacher reference Library according to the learning environment. Sport lovers are going to enjoy a large playground that occupies the area of the college and covers 8.03 acres of land; this area will allow practicing a wide range of sports. B. Parameshwarappa Arts and Commerce College offers two full-time undergraduate programs. Examples of pre vocational degrees include the; Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). The BA program intake is much higher with 180 number of seats while the B.Com program is having 60 numbers of seats. Both of them takes three years and awards the students with a complete education in their specialised area. These two streams help the college provide specialised attention to arts and commerce disciplines in order to cater for the diverse career needs of students in these areas.
