Baba Farid College, Bathinda (BFC) is one co- educational institution which was started in the year 2005. Situated in Punjab, India this affiliated college is spread in 50 acres of land and is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. BFC has 30 courses in 14 programs offered across three levels with 3,803 students’ enrolment and 50 faculty members. Gender wise students have a pleasing distribution with 63% male and 37% female students The institute gets 13 percent students from other states.

To help the student, the college has a variety of functional facilities for contemporary learning. The institutions have facilitated hostels for both boys and girls with an understanding of air condition and provision of neat and clean foods. The campus includes well developed sports amenities comprising of indoor and outdoors such as volleyball area, basketball ground etc. A fully air-conditioned library with an open-access to books and journals; backed up by digital resources and broadband internet connection. The IT infrastructure is well developed meaning students benefit from modern IT services. The college has got three canteen facilities, NESCAFE and juice shop which offers both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. 

Baba Farid College provides its students all course streams to meet their educational needs. According to the result it offers 30 courses out of which 19 are offered at the undergraduate level and 11 at the postgraduate level. The college also offers both full time and part time programs, majorly offering regular classes. The courses are 5 MA Program, 5 B.Sc and B.Sc(Hons) program, 10 M.Sc. program, B.Voc, etc.
