Baba Mangal Singh Institute of Education, Moga, was set up in the year 2004 and is one of the premier teacher training college situated at Moga, Punjab, India. This affiliated college located on 5 acre campus is aimed to cultivate potential teachers. Affiliated to the Kuvempu University and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this institute facilitate quality education in the concerned field of teaching. The institute has a enrolment of 240 students and has 17 staff members so that a dense concentration of the learners and the faculty can be provided to all the teacher trainees.

The institute has a range of facilities that give a plus to the mode of education of students within the institute. A library, as source of information centre, is provided while well-equipped laboratories enhance practical teaching and learning. The Baba Mangal Singh Institute of Education runs two full time teacher education programs. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program is a two-year program for the preparation of teachers or secondary and senior secondary levels. The two year course Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El Ed) is also for the learners for primary education. 

The selection criteria of the candidates in Baba Mangal Singh Institute of Education is entrance test/marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination.
