Baba Rishidev Singh Mahavidyalaya, Ballia: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Baba Rishidev Singh Mahavidyalaya, Ballia, was established in the year 2015 as an affiliated college and is located on the 3-acre campus at Dharmapur, Karon, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The institution imparts different types of educational courses. It is a NCTE-approved institution with a total student enrollment of 235 students and a faculty strength of 16, offering three types of degree courses. The institute is specialized in teacher education and arts, offering one with B.Ed, D.El.Ed, and BA. 

It was the aim of the young institution to provide for the educational needs of the region in terms of teacher training and liberal arts education. The college boasts a variety of facilities to enhance the student experience. For academic work, the college library is a treasure trove, as are the sports facilities that encourage physical fitness and team spirit. The college's attitude towards all aspects of modern education is further reflected in the provision of the perfect IT infrastructure, which adequately means that students are reared for the electronic world. The boys' and girls' hostels are provided with modern facilities to offer a comfortable life for those who are required to live in them. The various departmental laboratories are established by the college to provide invaluable practical knowledge. An additional auditorium creates a venue for various events and workshops, and therefore, it helps in creating an active campus life. Baba Rishidev Singh Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time courses in total. The BA course will be three years long, and this post-graduate level course will serve to inculcate basic liberal arts knowledge. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program shall be of two years duration with an approved intake of 50 students. Besides, the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education D. El. Ed. program adds on to its education design with emphases on teacher training. 

The admission process at Baba Rishidev Singh Mahavidyalaya is based on the program candidates are applying for. Admission to the B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses will be through merit in the qualifying examination or the entrance examination. The college may also prescribe any other additional selection processes as the state government of Uttar Pradesh or the affiliated university requires.
