Baba Vishwanath Mahavidyalaya, Azamgarh: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Baba Vishwanath Mahavidyalaya, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, is an affiliated college. Nibi, Belyisha, Azamgarh, is the location of the institute, established in the year 2004. It has a campus of 5 acres. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has approved three full-time courses offered across different disciplines by the college. The institute has a faculty strength of 17, with a total of 891 students enroled, offering a good environment with diversity at its academics. 

Many amenities have been provided in Baba Vishwanath Mahavidyalaya campus to aid and assist the academic curriculam. A library well stacked with books, journals, encyclopedias, and periodicals serves as a knowledge centre. It maintains NCTE guidelines for the B.Ed. course and subscribes to national and international journals. Sports facilities are provided to all students. This works on the concept of physical growth along with academic growth. It also possesses department-based laboratories for the practical experiencing of learning of various concepts. Baba Vishwanath Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time courses: BA, B.Ed, and D.El.Ed. The sanctioned intakes of the B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses are 100 each, while that for the BA programme is not mentioned. All these are regular, full-time programmes. 

Admissions at Baba Vishwanath Mahavidyalaya are based on merits, which are determined by the marks secured by applicants in their qualifying exams and/or entrance test. The admission policy of the college is based on the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the affiliated university. Admission to BA course shall be made strictly on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination or on the basis of entrance exams as per State Government and University policies. B.Ed and D.El.Ed also uphold the same principle of merit-based admission for admission, subject to the guidelines and policies framed by the state government and concerned authorities of education. Even so, the dates and deadlines may vary each academic year.
