Babe Ke Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Moga was established in 2002 is one of the reputed college offer Ayurvedic Education and Health care services. Babe Ke Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Moga, ranks as one of the brains for Ayurvedic education and health care in Punjab, India. The college is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) that certifies and maintains the institution's academic proficiency, while the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) recognizes it as an institution for quality education in Ayurveda. Admission is granted based on the merit achieved in national-level entrance examinations by the candidate. For undergraduate admission, the college accepts NEET scores on a national basis. This fair, any candidate aspiring to pursue a BAMS degree, has to take and clear along with a minimum score obtain qualifying status. The NEET is generally held once every year and to be eligible for further admission into such courses, candidates must secure the predetermined cut-off scores.

For postgraduate MD programs, admissions are conducted on the basis of the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET), which intends candidates to pursue admission into postgraduate Ayurvedic programs. Candidates are to appear for and qualify AIAPGET in order to obtain admission into any MD programs from this college. The courses offered include six programs at three degree levels: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Diploma in Pharmacy, and several MD courses in Ayurveda. The admission cycle takes place most often concomitant with the national-level entrance examinations, while the academic year mostly commences in August-September.

Degree wise Admission Process

BAMS: The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery course at Babe Ke Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital can take in 60 seats each year. Admission to BAMS is regulated by the merit obtained by a candidate in the NEET examination. To be eligible, candidates must complete 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

MD programs: The college offers several MD programs in Ayurveda, including

  2. MD Dravyaguna (6 seats)

Diploma in Pharmacy: The college accommodates the Diploma in Pharmacy program for an intake of 100 seats. The call on admission to this program seems immaterial, although it most likely follows academic merit as well in the qualifying exam.
