Babe Ke College of Education was established in 2005 at Daudhar and is one of the leading institution of education in Punjab, India. This is a co-educational institution established in Moga district, and it has been preparing young people for their future as teachers for almost 20 years. The college which sprawls over 3 acres of land is an affiliated college recognised by the NCTE and accredited the NAAC. Having 267 students in total and 15 faculties, Babe Ke College is focused on its three distinct streams of education.

There are well equipped facilities in the college that make students learning much easier, creative and innovative. Library being an integral facility of any education institution is large, commodious, apart from the general reading section having separate reading area for the faculty & students. Those students, who have an inclination for participation in sporting and other physical exercises can participate in indoor sports or access sporting equipment from the Physical Education Resource Centre, which provides for both indoor and outdoor sporting. The modern orientation of the college in the approach to education is underlined by the availability of the up-to-date ICT Resource Centre containing forty computers with the newest software as well as Wi-Fi Internet connection.

Babe Ke College of Education runs three full time courses to equip teachers for different levels of teacher education. The programs are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). For those with an aspirations for higher learning the Master of Education (M.Ed) program is offered. Also, D.El.Ed degree provided by the college which prepares the students for teaching at primary level.

Admission to B.Ed program are done in accordance with the norms set by the corresponding university which the college is affiliated to. In cases where entrance test is administered basis for admission is usually the result of that test. At present there is no entrance test for admission and one is directly admitted based on the marks obtained in the graduation. Similar to the above, for admission in M.ED and D.EL.ED programs merit system will be adopted with reference to marks obtained in the qualifying as well as entrance test as per the norms prescribed by the state government, U.T. Administration and the University.
