BSSITM Lucknow: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Babu Sunder Singh Institute of Technology and Management, abbreviated as BSSITM, was established in the year 2010. This affiliated college is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, spread over 25 acres of land, and has been approved by AICTE. The institute offers different branches of engineering diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes. The institute with a total strength of 772 students and faculty strength of 115 promotes an ideal environment for technical education. It reflects the institute's concern for quality education to its students with modern infrastructure and then the pursuit of various streams of engineering.

BSSITM provides the following facilities for developing learning experience among students. It has well-equipped laboratories for practical training, an advanced computer centre with modern hardware and software, and a spacious library well-stocked with a number of books and journals. For the comfort of students, BSSITM has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, wherein 2-seater rooms are there in well-furnished rooms with 24-hour electricity along with provision for indoor and outdoor games. In addition, a canteen, sports facilities, and Wi-Fi, are also in operation. There is a medical facility appointed by the institute with a medical officer and an ambulance at its service all the time for health safety for students.

It provides 14 courses in nearly all disciples of engineering. BSSITM's academic portfolio consists of 8 B.Tech programmes, 2 M.Tech programmes, and 4 Diploma courses that make it a total of 14 full-time programmes. The B.Tech programmes available include the courses on Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. At postgraduate level, it provides the M.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The admission procedure at BSSITM is mainly based on entrance. The institute takes into consideration the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination JEECUP  scores for letting students join the B.Tech courses. All entrance exams will be conducted during the pre-calendar year months and results are announced almost immediately and counseling happens shortly after.
