Balaji Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Narsampet (BIPS) is one of the leading institutes in supply of pharmacy education in the year 2005. BIPS also runs a 6 year Pharm.D programme and a 2 year D.Pharma course. Altogether the institute provides 6 full-time courses at different course levels, providing various types of education in the sphere of pharma.

BIPS mainly follows the entrance examination procedure while admitting the students except for a few other methods like management quota, and other quotas. Available seats in each branch for B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D programmes are filled through the Telangana State Engineering agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). The admission process for M.Pharma programs for postgraduate level is conducted through Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
