Baldeo College of Education, Fatehpur, was started in 2020 as a new institution in the chain of educational institutes in Bihar. This institution is co-educational and is located in Patna for the purpose of shaping future teachers. This is an affiliated college and hence works under the umbrella of some other university that has prescribed certain educational norms that this college follows. This quality teacher education commitment has already been given approval by the National Council of Teacher Education, New Delhi. Presently, Baldeo College of Education runs two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), to serve aspiring teachers at two different levels of the system.

The institution has many facilities that make up the learning environment for its students. At the very core of the academic resources provided is a well-stocked library that caters to students by making available to them huge amounts of educational materials and literature. In addition, the college has departmental laboratories to afford practical experience to students for experimenting with theory. The academic courses in Baldeo College of Education are both concentrated and well-rounded, with only two courses for the would-be teachers. The B.Ed course is stretched across a period of two years and the intake capacity for the said course has been approved at a maximum of 100 students. This course will thus be particularly very useful for those wanting to teach at the secondary and higher secondary levels. 

Admission to Baldeo College of Education is based on merit and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State Government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university. For B.Ed., the admission shall generally be based on marks in the qualifying examination and or on the basis of performance in the entrance test. Other selection processes can be initiated at the discretion of the authorities. The admission to D.El.Ed. course shall be made on the basis of merit, with marks in the qualifying examination and entrance test results.
