Established in 1948, Balurghat College is a premier institution of West Bengal, located at Balurghat. The affiliated college boasts of a 10.51-acre campus with a student strength of 4,675 members. At present, the faculty number counts 96 members with 30 courses taught under 7 degree programmes in different streams of arts, science, and commerce. Balurghat College has received the accreditation certificate from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, which eloquently speaks of the commitment of the institution to the cause of maintaining high standards of academics.
