Balwant Vidyapeeth Rural Institute is an affiliated co-educational college established in the year 1956, located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It has sprawled over a fantastic 10.22 acres of land and has been serving to this region's educational demand since the past six decades. This is an NAAC accredited institute. With a total strength of 589 students and faculty strength of 17, BVRI ensures personal attention to all students. Regarding degree courses, there is only one at the moment, keeping in view its limited scope of education through the arts stream. 

Balwant Vidyapeeth Rural Institute has the best infrastructural facilities for enhancing students' minds and pursuit of knowledge. The library located within the institute's campus has more than 23,296 books. Of these, 12,733 belong to different titles and 570 are reference books. The students have access to 14 journals and a big collection of 2,600 back volumes. Both boys' hostels and girls' hostels are there for the students who want to live on the campus. The institute currently offers a course of Bachelor of Arts (BA) under the current offering. This programme is three years of a full-time course with an approved intake of 320 seats.
