Bankim Behari Teachers Training Institute, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal was established in the year 2016. So, it is almost a young institute in the field of education. This co-educational institute has its sole motive of developing future teachers who would help in building basic education amongst its learners. The institute offers two specialised courses in teacher training. The institute is NCTE-approved and, simultaneously, an affiliated college in its zeal to show commitments toward maintaining the educational standard. Bankim Behari Teachers Training Institute has a compact 1.84-acre campus and is set up in a focused learning environment. The total student enrolment is 395 with a faculty strength of 36 dedicated educators. This makes the student-faculty ratio highly favourable, with personalised attention and quality instruction assured. It offers two full-time courses: B.Ed with an intake capacity of 100 students per year and D.El.Ed., also with an intake capacity of 100 students per year.
