Bapuraoji Butle Arts, Narayanrao Bhat Commerce and Bapusaheb Patil Science College, Digras: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

In 1961, Purandarao Kadam established a co-educational institution called asapurawaded Burle Arts College, Narayanrao Bhat Commerce College and Bapu Saheb Patil Science college, Digras is located in Yavatmal city of Maharashtra. This affiliated college which is recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council also provides a wide variety of programs in arts, commerce and science streams. The college oversees a campus of 6.11 acre and has 1114 students in its roll and a total teaching staff of 24 professors. The institution offers 8 courses under 6 degrees with the types of degree programs including Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level and also the facets of Botany, Chemistry and Physical Education among others. 

The college is fully endowed with some of the best facilities that will enable the students to achieve their course objectives. The central library was instituted in 1963, it holds more 27109 books and different numbers of journals and periodicals. It has a common reading hall to boys and girls, a Network Resource Centre for Internet browsing and partially computerized with Lib Man software. There are sports facilities and a gymnasium available for use that are can be used by sport lovers attending the college. It also has an ample auditorium to contain events and seminars, practical laboratory for academics and a strong IT base. Since the college seeks to satisfy the needs of users, it has made arrangements for parkages for students and staff, as well as guest house for faculty and students’ family members.

Bapuraoji Butle Arts, Narayanrao Bhat Commerce and Bapusaheb Patil Science College currently provides 8 courses, including full time undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral courses. The under graduate programs offered are BA, B.Com and B.Sc the post graduate programs include MA in Marathi and M.Sc in Botany. This college also offers Ph.D. degrees in Botany, Chemistry and Physical Education. Regarding to the student intake for all courses as it is not clear, the total number of students is 1,114. The college has almost equal ratio of male and female students with 510 male students and 709 female students. 

The admission to Bapuraoji Butle Arts, Narayanrao Bhat Commerce and Bapusaheb Patil Science College is Merit based and duly regulated as per the standards of the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, and the Government Managements. The admission messages and directions are put on the college notice board and any intending student or parent is advised to study them before applying. Although dates for particular examinations are not indicated, the college works within the framework of the academic calendar of the university to which it is affiliated. The institution is able to provide scholarship programmes which many a number of students are able to benefit from. Out of the students who applied for fees reimbursement in the college during the 2022 academic year, 617 of the 1,078 undergraduate students and 105 of the 141 postgraduate students were reimbursed to show that the college embraces the Fees Must Fall concept.
