Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education, Kottarakkara is a popular teacher training college in Kottarakkara, now in Kollam district of Kerala which was started in 1995. This co-educational college for both boys and girls is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised. With other a total of 5 acres of land, the college offers two education programmes which are able to accommodate 137 students in enrolment. 

The Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education ensures students have meaningful learning background through formulating academic environment with relevant facilities to enhance students learning. Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education offers two full-time courses in education: Degrees, as well as qualification courses, include Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed). Each programme has a total of 60 credit hours and spans two years offering courses in teaching and educational leadership.
