• On March 5, 2024, BBK DAV College for Women hosted a Food Fest where students from the PG Dept. of Home Science and Fashion Design, as well as B.Voc Beauty and Fitness students, presented a wide range of delicious dishes.

BBK DAV College for Women in Amritsar was founded in 1967 by "The DAV College Managing Committee, Chitra Gupta Road, New Delhi" to offer higher education to women. The college offers education in various streams such as Commerce, Management, Vocational Studies, Arts, Humanities, Languages, Fine Arts, Designing, and Sciences. It has been re-accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade.

Affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, BBK DAV Amritsar provides admission in degree and diploma programmes, available at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The programmes offered provide intensive learning experience and evaluation, through full-time mode.
