Bengal Music College in Kolkata was founded back in 1940 as a pioneering institution that infused art and science into music. The affiliated college at P-1, C.I.T Scheme LXXII Gariahat Road, in the heart of the city of Kolkata, has nurtured talented musicians for more than eighty years. It can still maintain an intimate learning environment with just 305 students. The student body is manned by a highly dedicated faculty of 5 members in order to provide personalized attention and mentorship to budding musicians. The institution has all the principal facilities that will aid its students in their musical journey.

A well-stocked library acts like the treasure house of knowledge regarding music by providing materials for research and learning purposes. Interested students in the art of performing can pursue the diploma in performing arts, an even more performanceoriented course.
