Bengtol College, Bengtol, was established in the year 1977 and is affiliated with Chirang district of Assam. Its campus is built across 12 acres of land. This institution has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The institution provides a rich variety of 12 courses in 5 degree programs to a total of 773 students. The institute houses a faculty of 26 dedicated educators who strive day and night to impart quality education in the lines of fields related to Arts and Business Administration.  

There are modern facilities within the Bengtol College campus so that the students may have a proper learning experience. The library has all textbooks, reference books, journals and periodicals for helping the students in the learning process. Besides, there are also e-resources available as a part of the N-LIST programme of INFLIBNET of which the college is also a member. Students who have a passion for sports and physical fitness can make use of the indoor stadium and a multi-purpose gymnasium. Maintenance of the auditorium with seating capacity of 300 is well-maintained within the campus and it can hold many programs and functions. A canteen in the campus premises provides meals and snacks at concessional rates to students and staff. 

In total, Bengtol College offers 12 courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Most of these are full-time courses, like B.A., B.B.A., and M.A. degrees. The college offers major arts courses at the undergraduate level in English, Economics, Education, Bodo, History, Philosophy, and Political Science. It offers MA courses in English and Bodo at the postgraduate level. The college also offers a BBA course in Business Administration and a PGDCA course in Computer Applications for students interested in developing their skills in this area.
