The 2-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) program admits a full cohort of 100 students on two bases, namely the qualifying examination and entrance examination according to the policy of the state government. The D.El.Ed. program specifically deals with the teacher preparation for elementary education.

Both have the same weight in the eyes of the institution, and considering that both have the same sanctioned intake of 100 students each, placing a total intake of 200 students per annum for the institution.
