Bharathi College of Education, Ranchi was established in 2012 in collaboration with the Mandar, Jharkhand and this is an affiliated college situated at Kandri village in that area. This co-educational institution located on 1.39 acres of land is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This college has two full-time education programs total enrollment of 400 students and a faculty of 32. Bharathi College of Education aims to educate students aspiring to be teachers, offering first B.Ed and second D.El.Ed program, both are of 2-year duration with 100 enrolment capacity per course.

These are boys' and girls' hostels because the institution accommodates residential students with adequate comfort. Bharathi College of Education offers a focused curriculum with two primary courses: Bachelor in Education (B.ED) and Diploma in Education [Elementary stream] (D.EL.ED.). Both programs are two years in duration and are offered offer as full-time programmes and their aim is to produce professional teachers who can teach at all levels of education. The college has a total approved intake of 200 students every year and has split the two courses equally; each program receives 100 students. This enhances specialization hence quality training of teachers since the institution is solely mandated to train teachers.
