Established in the year 2000, Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Karad is the constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Karad is affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur and is approved and recognised by the Government of Maharashtra and the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. 

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Karad has also been accredited by NAAC. Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Yashwantrao Chavan Law College offers programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At the undergraduate level, Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Karad offers a 3-year LLB programme and 5-year BSL LLB and BA LLB programmes and at the postgraduate level, it offers a LLM degree course.
