Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata is a college imparting education in the field of Management and Business Administration. BIMS Kolkata was established in 2000 and is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata. BIMS Kolkata offers undergraduate (BBA) and postgraduate (MBA) degrees in Business Administration. BIMS Kolkata currently offers specialisations in Finance, Human Resources, Operational Management, Business Analytics and Marketing. 

Students are admitted into BIMS Kolkata based on their performance in the MAT, conducted by AIMA, and JEMAT, conducted by MAKAUT. Candidates must also attend a group discussion and personal interview as part of the BIMS admission process. 

BIMS Kolkata also has a scholarship facility that can be availed by meritorious candidates. BIMS Kolkata offers many facilities for the benefit of students. The facilities at BIMS Kolkata include smart classrooms, a library, computer labs, a communication lab, a canteen and a seminar hall. 

A dedicated training and placement cell ensures that students gain plenty of exposure to the industry through programs and activities like the Corporate Mentor Scheme and industry visits. BIMS has a 95% placement record and the average package received by students during BIMS Kolkata placements was 4.6 lakhs per annum in recent years. 

BIMS Kolkata regularly conducts activities like B-School Meet, national and international seminars, live projects, guest lectures and many more. The college also offers merit-based scholarships to the students.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is located 12 km away from the campus by road. The closest metro station to BIMS Kolkata is Bengal Chemical Station, which is less than a kilometre away. Sealdah Railway station is located at a distance of around 6.5 Km away by road. BIMS Kolkata is also accessible from Sealdah Railway station by the green line of the Kolkata Metro. Sealdah Bus Depot is also around 6.5 kilometres away from the college.
