Bhartiya Teachers Training College, Dabla was set up in 2007 is an affiliated to Rajasthan University. It is a co-educational institution situated in Sikar district and ready to produce future educators. A part of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University it is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and provides teacher training programs. Situated on a very small piece of land, 0.79 acres of land the college currently accommodating 95 learners and has 16 qualified faculty staff. Even though it is small in size, Bhartiya Teachers Training College aims to offer a general education with majors in teacher training.

Among the facilities present in the college it has facilities that aims to improve the learning process of its students. This can only be supplemented by a well-equipped and stocked library as the central core of academic resource since this is where students find most of their educational resources. Another important facility is the presence of departmental laboratories which will allow college students provide practical application of knowledge and receive necessary work experience in addition to becoming teachers. 

For over all development students have facilities for indoor games and sports, gymnasium, and all kinds of facilities that can make the student physically fit and also team spirit. The college’s auditorium is used for hosting events, seminars and any other cultural activities to enhance the college’s activity. The course offered by Bhartiya Teachers Training College is specifically tuned, where the primary course offered is B.Ed. Being one of the full-time educational programmes that lasts for two years, the main purpose of this educational program is to mould competent and dedicated teachers. The college has been approved to take only one hundred students in this course so as to ensure quality education to all intending teachers yet admitting many students in the course. B.Ed programme touches all the major areas of teaching and learning, educational psychology and methodology required to face the emerging challenges of the context in which education is delivered.

Bhartiya Teachers Training College offers admissions to the students on merit; it follows the standard rules and regulation of the Rajasthan state Government. Qualifying the PTET which is an entrance examination, conducted by a university to be nominated by the Government of Rajasthan is mandatory for students who wish to pursue education in one of the B.Ed colleges in Rajasthan. This type of entrance examination provides the college with an opportunity to admit qualified students through the performance of this examination thus affording the college a healthy competition.
