Bhausaheb Lahane Dnyanprakash Arts College, Pinjar was established in 1995. It is an affiliated college that operates on a campus of 5.51 acres spread over Barshitakli, Akola district of Maharashtra. The institution is committed to excellence in quality arts education. Balanced student-teacher ratio with total enrollment of 250 students and faculty strength of 6 exists in the college. The college has a rather balanced mix of genders on its rolls with 136 male students and 113 females.
