Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved College and Research Hospital is young college which was established in 2017 situated in Butibori Nagpur Maharashtra. This affiliated college is particularly dedicated to the practice and teaching of Ayurveda and provides a five year integrated course leading to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). Functional to its tenets, built over 5.51 acres of campus space, the college provides admission to 300 students and has a team of 45 faculty members. Being a co-educational institution it enrols students of all sexes which not only ensures that the two sexes are represented in the school but also promotes diversity in learning. Ayurvedic course is well defined in the college, with the college investing in facilities that meet the needs of this kind of learning.
The institution has numerous infrastructural units that supplement the learning activity and improve students’stay. A good library facilitates knowledge and students are privileged to have access to adequate Ayurvedic text and research materials. As far as the curriculum is concerned, it mainstreams the quality education of Ayurvedic medicine in Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved College and Research Hospital. The institution has only one full time course currently, that is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). Its approved intake is 100 students per year and the college’s continued effort to keep an ideal student-to-instructor ratio while being drums to ensure students get enough attention. The BAMS course takes 6 years in total to complete; the program gives the student a considerable idea about the Ayurveda stream.
The college offers admission through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and followes merit list. This national level examination help to ensures that college admits students who possess requisite knowledge in sciences and who indeed have passion for Ayurveda.
