Bhavan’s Tripura College of Science and Technology, Agartala, popularly known as BTCST, was set up in 2003. Located at Anandanagar, Agartala, Tripura, this affiliated college has been in the business of molding young heads for more than two decades now. This small 4.88-acre campus boasts of a more diverse roster with 9 courses spread across four different degree programs. The college has a student population of 119 students and the college boasts a faculty of seven active teachers. BTCST has been associated with science and technological attempts especially in providing courses in Computer Sciences, Electronics/Information Technology and Science among them.

The college has numerous amenities that can be of help in the expansion of the learning process of the learners. It has an adequate stock of books which are necessary for the TDC Honours level subjects involving computer science, electronics, physics, statistic, mathematics, other engineering subjects, economics, management and environmental science. For the sportsmen, BTCST offer both indoor and outdoor facilities for games with intention of erecting an open yard for annual games and athletics. The Limiting University of Creative Technology’s information technology is its strength; the campus has fully air-conditioned computer laboratories complete with current software and linked via Local Area Networks to the broadband internet. They can also be served with hygienically provided canteen foods, they could have a spacious and airy hall, a provided college bus, etc. The college has departmental practical laboratory and a health centre where the first aid for any emergencies are provided to students to foster holistic learning.

BTCST has nine undergraduate programmes and all its programmes are full-time degrees. Science programmes fill the overall paradigm of management and other related courses offered in the college to address the different interests of learners. The total intake capacity for all courses approved are 270 indicating the colleges policy of maintaining a student faculty ratio.
