One of the premier colleges, Bhawani Sao Shrimati Kakbai Sao Ramlal Sao Memorial College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Research Station, Mungeli, Chhattisgarh was set up in the year 2007. Indeed, a differential institution for agricultural engineering education and research, where technical and agricultural expertise blend into a unique fusion. Total campus area is 30 acres, with total student strength of 181 students and 7 faculty members. This institute provides one degree course, B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering.

Practical exposure is provided through well-maintained laboratories; at the same time, the latest IT infrastructure is also available to cope with the changes in trends in the industry. 

Bhawani Sao Ramlal Sao Memorial College offers one course: B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, which has a sanctioned intake of 60. This is a full-time four-year programme. The course has been designed for equipping the students with required knowledge and skills towards meeting the diverse emerging challenges in the agricultural sector.

The content of the course is an amalgamation of engineering principles and agricultural practices, and thus, the postgraduates would have a vast scope in the fields of farm mechanisation, irrigation systems, post-harvest technology, and sustainable agriculture. The entry process into the B.Tech Agricultural Engineering course is done through the counseling process after the results of the Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test.
