Bhawanipur Hastinapur Bijni College, situated at Barpeta, Assam, is one of the older institutions of higher learning. This co-educational college was started in the 1971 session. The college has been catering to the requirements of the academic community by all its resources and efficiency for over five decades. The college offers undergraduate courses in various streams and has a total student strength of 1,205 on a sprawling campus of 9.24 acres.
