BHH Degree College for Women, Guntur, was founded in 1991 and is the pride of higher education for women in Andhra Pradesh. The affiliated college is situated at Brodipet in the heart of Guntur, sprawling over an area of 5.37 acres. Offering a learner-focused approach to education with its faculty strength of 23 against a total enrolment of 393 students. The BHH Degree College proposes 11 courses affiliated with 3 degree programs focused on Commerce, Arts, and Sciences. Coming under the rubric of commitment to women's education, this college is purposefully made for female students and has, in turn, enabled the atmosphere for them in the context of academic discourse. 

The college also holds a diverse number of facilities that enhance the quality of education for the students. At the heart of these is the well-stocked library, which boasts a fine collection of 7,000 textbooks, 725 journals, and 75 magazines. The rare and important works in the library include Encyclopedia Britannica, Oxford Encyclopedia, and Subject-specific Encyclopedias. The institution has two computers well-equipped laboratories, out of which the first one is named after the great philanthropist Smt. Gundimeda Kanaka Durgambagaru. This entire lab is well equipped with 25 state-of-the-art computers and is operated on a self-based module, with highly talented faculty members handling the lab to train the students comprehensively on computer applications. The facilities include a large auditorium for events, seminars, and guest lectures, a canteen for refreshments, departmental labs for practical learning, and sports facilities to inculcate the zeal in students for physical well-being. There is also a very active alumni association, with a strong network maintained among past and present students in the college.

For instance, B.Com, BA in Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, will have 60 seats each and B.Sc Agriculture – 50 seats. B.Sc Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, and Botany, Zoology and Chemistry will be of 48 seats.
