Bhilai Nair Samajam College, Durg, was established in 1968, located in Sector 8, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. It is an affiliated institution and supports the various courses it offers through the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The courses are provided only in co-education mode. The college has 261 students, with a faculty intake of 16 members running 7 different courses of study under 6 degree programs. It successfully completes all its attempts in the field of commerce, computer applications, management, and education—both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. B.Ed has an intake of 100, hence a large number for the college in the teacher training program course.

Admissions, however, for most other courses including the B.Ed, are made on the basis of marks obtained at the qualifying examination.
