Bhola Paswan Shastri Agricultural College, Purnea came into existence in the year 2010 at Purnea in Bihar. The college is a co-educational constituent unit of the university with agricultural education as its prime objective. The curriculum shall have a central theme oriented towards developing professionals in the agricultural sector. With a total student enrolment of 205 and a faculty of 28, the student-to-teacher ratio is quite decent for quality teaching and proper guidance.

Bhola Paswan Shastri Agricultural college has a number of facilities that ensure a more conducive learning environment to the students. The university has a well-equipped library with adequate textbooks related to agriculture, practical books, newspapers, magazines, and journals meant for studies and other activities of the students.  has a computer laboratory with facilities related to access to the internet, and the whole administrative-cum-college building is Wi-Fi enabled by the Government of Bihar. The University has different laboratories that are meant for practical training in the agricultural sciences.

Bhola Paswan Shastri Agricultural College offers only one full-time course: B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.), a three-year course that would enable students to develop their knowledge of agricultural science in theoretical and practical fields.
