Bhopal Institute of Technology and Science also known as BITS Bhopal is one of the premier institute of Bhopal situated in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college was founded in 2002 and has been contributing to mould technical talent for more than twenty years. Located in 10 acres of land, BITS Bhopal is tenanted with numerous engineering courses for budding young talents. The NA has been established and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), it means that is follows certain standards of education in the country. While taking an overall enrolment  of 759 students and 85 faculty members, the college preserves the strength advantage to student strength ratio of 1:9, which is helpful in offering special attention to every student.

BITS Bhopal has expose of modern sector amenity that is harmonic with the students learning process and the required teaching amenities. It systematically shines out as library that for the pool of over 10322 books and more than 1040 international and national journals in engineering domain and technology. Students also borrow newspapers and magazines of their choice such as India Today, Outlook etc. The IT Integration that is made available at BITS Bhopal is excellent which help the students to be on the convenient position with the up gradation of the technological processes. The campus also provides adequately fitted laboratories; more so, the Computer Science and Engineering department has eight computer laboratories, with 425 computer systems. These are labs used for demonstration, project implementation and specialised skills training to give the students a practical touch on their areas of specialisation

BITS Bhopal teaches all branches engineering courses at the both under graduate and post graduating levels. BITS Bhopal offers, five B.Tech programmes & three M.Tech programmes that have been developed to fulfil the modern day industrial needs. The B.Tech programs offered at the college are Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. Thesis level, student can take M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Power Systems, and Thermal Engineering. These are all full time courses hence students can fully engage in their areas of specialization. 

Admission process in BITS Bhopal is always fair as well as merit based and this is one of the best advantageous point for the college. For all the B.Tech programmes offered by the institute, admission criteria are mostly JEE Main. Institute also checks the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in the examination of Class 12th. The admission process is based on the online counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education DTE government of Madhya Pradesh. In the M.Tech programmes the admissions are offered based on the candidate’s performance in GATE exam or the qualifying examination. The institute also adheres to the online counselling conducted by DTE, Madhya Pradesh for postgraduate admission also.
