Bibhutibhushan B Ed College, 24 Parganas: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Bibhutibhushan B.Ed. College started in the year 2016 and is an off campus College in North 24 Parganas District of West Bengal. This co-educated institute occupies a compact area of 1 acres and offers teacher education. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college imparts two professional courses in education. Bibhutibhushan B.Ed. College’s student enrolment capacity is 308 and the faculty strength is 32, which collectively make the student- faculty ratio very healthy to foster quality education.

The college has various facilities it has for improving the learning process and in general development of students. Each health science student and faculty should have access to a good library to access information while the athletic facilities help students exercise and foster team work. The college has hostels for both boys and girls conveniently located for out station students to have quality hostels to stay in. 

To enhance practical learning, the institution has departments laboratories and has well developed IT facilities. More advantageous facilities for students may include a canteen, a health center with first aid and dressing sections, a gym. Many programmes and seminars are held in the college auditorium therefore creating active students’ extra – curricular activities. The courses offered in the B.BED B.ED. College is as follows, Faculty of Education Science Office Full time Bachelor of Education B.ED. The B.ED and D.El.ED both are two years course where the students are trained to be a professional teacher. 

Bibhutibhushan B.Ed. College has direct admission from the students which is done on the basis of merit score criteria by including the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Admission polices that are practiced in the college are applied as recommended by the state government of West Bengal and the concerned university. For the B.Ed. programme the candidates will have to qualify the selection test in the respective state or any other entrance examination as per the rules & regulation framed by the state government and /or by the Universities. 

Likewise, in D.El.Ed the admissions are other collegiate courses where admissions are made on merit in qualifying the examination or entrance examination as may be determined by the state government or union territory administration.
