Bidhan Chandra College, Rishra, established in 1957, is an affiliated college located in Hooghly, West Bengal. The institute is with a 1.934-acre campus. Enrolling a total of 3,479 students, the college has a diversified student body with 62% male and 38% female students. The institute is accredited by NAAC, and has a faculty strength of 38 members. 

Bidhan Chandra College strives to provide an ideal learning environment with multiple facilities to make the academic and personal growth of students hassle-free. There will be a well-equipped gymnasium on campus to cater to the needs related to physical fitness among students. The entire admission process at Bidhan Chandra College is undertaken under the supervision of the Admission Committee, guided by the admission policy of the college in keeping with the rules and regulations prescribed by the University of Calcutta.
