Bihar College of Pharmacy, Patna was established in the year 1979. This premier institution in Bihar is known for providing the best pharmaceutical education. This affiliated college has a campus area of 15 acres and is situated on New Bailey Road, Near Gola Road Petrol Pump. The institute offers a number of programs pertaining to pharmacy, which have been approved by PCI. A total enrolment of students here stands at 233, while it has a faculty strength of 16, thus ensuring focused learning.

Bihar College of Pharmacy offers a total of four courses, all full-time. Courses are B.Pharma, D.Pharma, and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics, B.Pharma Lateral Entry. All courses combined have an approved enrolment capacity of 165 seats. 

Admission in Bihar College of Pharmacy is done on the basis of merit, conducted by the institution through a written test announced by the college. The norms and conditions as specified by the PCI, AICTE, and Magadh University Bodh Gaya, with regard to the admission process, are followed by the institution. In the case of M.Pharma Pharmaceutics, the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test scores are considered for admission. The entrance examination for all courses in this college is conducted internally.
